Town business in Windsor Colorado

This post is unedited from the 2018 election.

I have been attending Town Board Meetings, Town Board Work Sessions, and other meetings to be up-to-speed on all Town business. I was complimented by a current Town Board Member who said he respected my effort as, if elected, I will be fully prepared to hit the street running.

There are 10 candidates running to fill 4 Town Board Member seats. Thus far, I am the only candidate attending these meetings, including current Town Board members as they generally only attend meetings if they are the assigned liaison to that group. I am building positive working relationships with the current Town Board Members and Town of Windsor employees that interact with the Town Board.

An interesting topic in this week’s Work Session (Monday, February 5th) was a potential hourly bus service linking UNC in Greeley with CSU in Fort Collins. The proposed route has multiple stops in Windsor. This would link Windsor into Bustang and the rest of Colorado’s public transportation systems. It’s excellent opportunity as Windsor would share the cost with Greeley and Fort Collins. I fully support moving forward with this project.

Town Board Agendas and Minutes are posted online, but I know first-hand that keeping up with all the town business can be a chore. District 2 residents can contact me directly with questions or updates regarding any particular topic. If I do not know the answer, I will find it.
