Why am I running? It’s a simple question, but is not asked enough when people choose their representative. For me it is simple. I am running to improve the everyday lives of my neighbors and my family.

Why I run for Town Board
Former Colorado Rockies Outfielder Ryan “Spilly” Spilborghs gave Mayor Pro Term Ken Bennett and I a tour of the Future Legends Sports Complex. It won’t be long before we are watching professional baseball and soccer games in Windsor.

I will continue to represent the residents of District 2 and the Town of Windsor, not a developer, an industry, or a political party. If an elected official puts a developer’s best interest ahead of the residents’ best interest, it is a big problem. If an elected official puts his/her political ideology ahead of what is best for the town, it is a problem. I will be fair to developers and all industries as they are valuable members of our community, but I will always represent the taxpayers and do what is best for the town. I will leave partisan politics on the doorstep of Town Hall. Afterall, there are no Democrat potholes or Republican potholes, there are only potholes that need to be filled.

Who you elect matters. I believe that local government often impacts our daily lives more than national politics. We have more control over what happens locally. Past behavior is the best indicator of future behavior. I left all posts on this website unedited from my 2018 campaign to show that I delivered on everything I said I would do 4 years ago. If I am re-elected, I will continue to follow-through and deliver on promises.

I have a proven track record of being available, approachable, and responsive to constituents. The best way for me to understand and solve a problem is to actively listen and be empathetic. I take constituent feedback to heart, even when we are not in full agreement.

I am attentive and engaged in Town Board meetings and discussions. I put in the time and do the necessary research before every meeting to be well-prepared so I can make the best decisions for the Town of Windsor.

If you ask me a question, you will get an answer. When someone reaches out to the Town Board, I have been told on several occasions that I was the only Town Board member to respond. This is especially true when discussing sensitive or controversial topics. If you have a question, please do not hesitate to reach out by calling my cell phone, sending a text, or sending an email.
