District-2 faces a unique challenge as our children are educated in 3 different school districts: Weld RE-4 School District (Windsor & Greeley), Poudre School District (Fort Collins), and Thompson School District (Loveland).
The Town Board does not oversee the school districts, but partnerships are essential to our community.
The Town Board has tight linkages with the Weld RE-4 School District. It would be my goal to create similar relationships and communication channels with Poudre School District and Thompson School District.
As a Town Board Member, I would volunteer to be a liaison to a Poudre School District Board Member and a Thompson School District Board Member.
The Town Board needs to recognize the accomplishments of all Windsor students, not just the students of Weld RE-4 School District.
