Former Mayor Tom Jones Endorses Barry Wilson

I could not more proud to have this strong endorsement from Dr. Tom Jones. If elected, I am happy he is in my corner as he provides invaluable input and advice whenever I reach out. He has been in Windsor for over 50 years and has served 24 years on the Town Board, including Mayor. Tom knows what it takes to be a successful Mayor. He and I have discussed what he role of the Mayor in detail and I look forward to following in his pioneering footsteps. Thank you, Dr. Jones.

“Windsor’s Mayoral election is underway, and ballots will soon be arriving in the mail. Barry Wilson and I were on Windsor’s Town Board from 2018 to 2020. We have also worked together with other community organizations after my term expired in 2020. During my 24 years on the Town Board I served with a diverse group of fellow board members, some of whom were more committed to the tasks at hand than others. I can say, unequivocally, that Barry is someone who “does his homework”. He listens to both sides of an issue, does the research, and casts his vote. He is not beholden to any special interests and is committed to giving his best on behalf of Windsor’s residents. Let’s leave it to Congress to wage war over the terms “progressive” and “conservative”. In local elections we should concentrate on a candidate’s experience, track record, and vision for the future.

I encourage a vote for Barry.

Tom Jones, Former Mayor – Town of Windsor
