This post is unedited from the 2018 election.

Please make me aware of any road or sidewalk repairs or improvements needed within Windsor’s District 2, especially if it’s a public safety issue. I will advocate on your behalf to resolve the issue. I will follow-up on all issues.

70% of District 2 residents live along the CR-13 Corridor. Along with HW-392 and Crossroads, CR-13 is one of the most heavily traveled roads in District 2.

CR-13 is currently damaged and lacks a shoulder for pedestrians and bicycles between HW-392 and the Poudre River. As a Town Board Member, I will advocate for repair and improvement. My initial investigation shows that CR-13 will be resurfaced in 2019. There are no plans for adding lanes which is a common question. I will continue to monitor the situation and escalate through the proper channels if the situation becomes worse or dangerous and needs to be repaired prior to planned improvements.

The narrow CR-13 bridge is a bottleneck for traffic and there is not room for pedestrians and bicycles. I’m currently researching future plans for this bridge and/or the addition of a pedestrian bridge (see Trails and Bile Paths) .

CR-13 is in Windsor and separates Larimer and Weld Counties. Repairs and improvements are jointly funded by the Town of Windsor, Larimer County, and Weld County. The addition of a traffic light at CR-13 and Crossroads is a successful and much needed example of a jointly-funded project.
